Life gets busy — we totally understand! But sometimes clients ask what happens if something unexpected comes up and they can’t make their session. Let’s talk about how that works!

Q: What happens if we don’t show up for our session? Will we get our money back?

A: Unfortunately, no-shows are non-refundable.When you book a session, that time is reserved just for you — we turn away other clients for that date and time, and often have assistants and schedules set in place to make your session perfect.

If you simply don’t show up without notice, the session fee is forfeited.

Q: What if something unexpected happens and we can’t make it?

We completely understand that life happens — kids get sick, emergencies pop up, or plans change. If you contact us ahead of time, we’ll do our best to help!

For most sessions:

If you reach out at least 24 hours in advance, we’ll work with you to reschedule your session to another available date.
For Mini Sessions, because the time slots are limited and booked back-to-back, we may not be able to reschedule but you can transfer your session to another person (a friend or family member).

Q: What if we’re running late?

If you’re running behind, please message us as soon as possible!

For full sessions, we’ll do our best to adjust within your time slot.
For Mini Sessions, timing is very tight — sessions start and end on schedule to stay fair to everyone. Arriving late may mean a shorter session, but we’ll still make sure to capture beautiful photos in the time we have!

Q: Why are sessions non-refundable?

Each session takes planning, preparation, and coordination — from setting up equipment to reserving your time slot and location. Your session fee ensures that time is held exclusively for you.

That said, we always want your experience to be wonderful, and we’ll do everything we can to help you get the photos you were looking forward to! 💛
