There's just something magical about fall in New Mexico!

The air gets a little cooler, the cottonwoods turn golden, and suddenly everywhere you look feels like the perfect backdrop for family pictures.

As an Albuquerque family photographer, fall is one of my absolute favorite seasons because the colors, softer light, and comfortable temperatures make outdoor sessions so beautiful.

But here's what I love most about fall family photos: they give families a chance to pause before the holiday craziness begins.

Between school, sports, Thanksgiving plans, and Christmas shopping, life gets BUSY!

Taking an evening to laugh, snuggle, and spend time together is something special.

And the beautiful photographs we create? Those are memories you'll enjoy long after the leaves have fallen.

Kate's Tip:

Don't worry about everyone wearing matching sweaters! Coordinating colors like cream, rust, olive, denim, and warm neutrals photograph beautifully against Albuquerque's autumn scenery.
