Preparation makes everything smoother — and when you feel prepared, you feel relaxed.

Family of four outdoors, dad holding a young girl, mom with son, all smiling. Trees and orange flowers in the background. Winter attire.

Here are essentials we recommend bringing based on your session type:

For Families:

  • Non-messy snacks

  • Water

  • Wipes

  • Hairbrush or comb

  • Lip balm

  • Backup outfit for little ones

  • Lint roller

These small items can quickly solve little hiccups and keep the session flowing smoothly.

For Babies:

  • Extra diapers

  • Bottles or feeding supplies

  • Pacifier

  • Swaddle blanket

  • Burp cloth

Babies run on their own schedule — having these items on hand ensures we can pause and soothe as needed without stress.

For Senior Sessions:

  • A second outfit (for variety)

  • Comfortable walking shoes (even if you’ll change into dress shoes later)

  • Hair ties or clips

  • Lip gloss or powder for touch-ups

  • Sports equipment, instruments, or meaningful props

  • Cap and gown (if available)

Senior sessions are about personality. Bringing items that represent hobbies, achievements, or passions makes your gallery even more meaningful.

For Maternity Sessions:

  • Nude undergarments

  • A strapless bra (if needed)

  • Comfortable flats for walking between locations

  • A light cardigan or shawl

  • Ultrasound photo (if you’d like to incorporate it)

  • Water and a small snack

Comfort is key during maternity sessions. Feeling supported and prepared allows you to fully enjoy the experience.

Having these items on hand keeps stress low and allows us to focus on what truly matters — capturing genuine connection and beautiful moments.

The more prepared you feel, the more relaxed the session becomes.
