Whether this is your first family session or your tenth, a little preparation goes a long way in helping everything go smoothly. Here are a few simple things to keep in mind before your session this fall!

1. Plan Your Outfits Ahead of Time

Don’t wait until the day of to figure out what everyone’s wearing. Lay out outfits a few days before your session and make sure everything fits and coordinates. Think cozy layers, rich fall colors, and textures that complement the season.

Especially during mini sessions, timing matters! Arriving 5–10 minutes early gives you time to park, fix hair or outfits, and start your session feeling relaxed instead of rushed.
