One of the most exciting moments in your life is finally here — your baby has arrived! Amid the joy, exhaustion, and whirlwind of those first days, photography might not be top of mind. But one quick message can make all the difference in capturing this fleeting season beautifully.
Letting us know as soon as your baby is born allows us to schedule your newborn session at the ideal time in your baby’s life.

The Sweet Spot for Newborn Photos
Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first 7–14 days after birth. During this window, babies are typically sleepier, curl more naturally, and are easier to gently pose. Those tiny fingers, curled toes, and peaceful expressions change quickly — sometimes in just a matter of days.
This is why timing matters so much.
Due Dates Are Just a Starting Point
While we tentatively plan around your due date, babies have their own timelines. Once your little one arrives, we need that final confirmation to officially place your session on the calendar.
Reaching out right away helps us adjust our schedule and reserve a spot that works best for both you and your baby.
Flexibility for You, Care for Baby
Your newborn’s comfort and safety always come first. By scheduling within the ideal window, sessions are calmer, gentler, and more relaxed for everyone involved — including tired parents.
Waiting too long can limit posing options and may require a different approach, which is why early communication is so helpful.
A Simple Message Is All It Takes
You don’t need a full update or long email — a quick message with your baby’s birth date is perfect. From there, we’ll take care of scheduling and guide you through the next steps.
We know those first days are tender and overwhelming, and our goal is to make this part easy for you.
These Days Pass Quickly
The newborn stage is brief, but the memories last forever. Letting us know right away ensures we can capture your baby during this precious window — exactly as they are, right at the beginning.
If you’re expecting or have already booked a newborn session, keep this in mind: once baby arrives, send us a message. We’ll handle the rest.
