Planning a photoshoot in the Bosque? You’re in for something magical. With its lush green trees, earthy tones, and warm, golden light, the Bosque creates a naturally beautiful backdrop—now let's make sure you and your loved ones look just as stunning!

Here are some style tips to help you shine during your session:

1. Choose Earthy & Neutral Tones

Think sage green, soft ivory, beige, dusty blue, rust, or warm browns. These colors blend beautifully with the natural setting without competing with the landscape. Avoid super bright neons or heavy patterns—they can distract from your faces and the scenery.

2. Add a Pop of Color

While neutrals are key, a gentle pop of color can make your photos come alive. Consider adding a dusty rose dress, mustard accessories, or soft teal top. These tones work harmoniously with the Bosque’s palette and bring visual interest.

3. Textures > Patterns

Swap busy prints for rich textures. Think flowy dresses, linen shirts, knits, or layers of denim and cotton. Textures catch the light beautifully and add depth without overwhelming the frame.

4. Coordinate, Don’t Match

Gone are the days of everyone in matching jeans and white shirts. Instead, select a color palette and have each family member wear outfits in different shades and textures within that palette. This creates a cohesive, stylish look while allowing everyone’s personality to show.

5. Footwear Counts

Since we’ll likely be walking a bit on dirt paths or grassy areas, opt for stylish but comfortable shoes—think boots, wedges, or cute flats. Avoid high heels or bright sneakers unless they’re intentionally part of your look.

6. Accessories Make the Look

Wide-brimmed hats, statement earrings, or layered necklaces can elevate your outfit. Just keep it balanced and intentional—less is often more when it comes to accessories in a natural setting.

Bonus Tip: Dress for the Weather

Layers are your friend! Mornings and evenings in the Bosque can be cool, even in spring. Bring a coordinating sweater or wrap just in case.
